I have a friend who has a problem with controlling his anger. At most times he acts normal and pretty cool, or at least I like to think so, but there are those rare moments when he really gets pissed. Like PISSED. Sometimes we'll just be joking around about it, and so will he, but for some reason as it goes on he gets actually pissed. He once even went as far as using a music stand to try and hit some guy who punched him in the nuts. As in REALLY TRIED. The thing is after these bouts of extreme anger he cools down, but he really regrets what he does and he feels kinda awkward apologizing about it since he wants to try to act like a tough guy. Do you have any advice on how he can avoid acting like this, even if it is uncommon? I know this is only supposed to be for Kata and shmexyhair, but I would appreciate anyone's help on this.

[Ada's at my house so she's using my account.]
Dear Guest, I know that this probably would be even more awkward, but you shoud talk to him about it. And tell him that you want to help him and if he starts freaking out again, you should probably try to stop him. If he get's mad at you, that's okay. Chances are that he'll apologize and accept your help. I'm not entirely sure about this so you should get a second opinion from Isaac. Sincerely, Kata

I doubt it's Zak... Have you ever seen Zak like "PISSED?"
I think s/he should just try calming the guy down. I mean seriously there's not much you can do if someone gets like uber mad.
