Caelum is the god reigning over the sky, and can be considered the chief god of good...which is rather sad, seeing as he's rather hopeless.
Caelum's history is rather boring, seeing as half the time he was lounging around in that cave of his in Varna like a hobo. Sometime or another he met a human named Glantina, whom he fell in love with for some indisclosed reason (maybe she did his laundry for him?) and then made an extremely plot device-esque sword for her, called the Sword of Eternity. Then he made another sword, the Eternal Sword (definitely not plagarized from Tales games), for yet another undisclosed reason, and wandered off (presumably back to his magic!!cave).
At that point in time Ater decided to unleash his evil upon the world and spawned Atra. By the time Caelum noticed, it was much too late, and he's rather hopeless anyway, so there was nothing he could do - EXCEPT forge a bunch of legendary weapons and put them in extremely hard to find locations to be used in a cheesy subplot centuries later.
Caelum is typically too busy being a hobo to play children's card games, though he is an all right duelist. His principal offensive cards would by Xyla and Sora (he lent both to Fate), the seven Temple guardians, and the sky dragon.
Later on Glantina became a goddess, and the two got married (though Ater did crash the wedding party, spike the punch, and get everyone drunk). They had a son, who was in fact an ancestor of Xyla and received the Sword of Eternity (or Eternal Sword. I forgot. Really, they're both the same).
Not many people know this, but one of Caelum's hobbies is writing romance novels under the pseudoname "Maluce". Kata is a big fan.
Because Caelum is quite a busy man, he has employed an apprentice named Victor who came about to his Magic Cave in a series of most bizarre events. He deals mostly with politics, press conferences, and collecting the souls of the dead; he also ghost-writes Caelum's novels for him when he's very busy being a hobo.
He is also very sexy, as per usual RP standards. Not that anyone has ever seen him, but he does have a town where the tourism is based on him.
Again, the above information may or may not be accurate due to the dubious sanity of the historian.
[XD I totally mangled your history, Maggie! But heck I did all this in Alg2H. >_>]
