Kasai wandered through the Desert of the Scorching Heat, searching for a secret oasis that legend said would be in the exact middle of the east corner of the Desert. "Crap, my water is low" muttered Kasai to himself, "I gotta find that oasis soon." Suddenly, the winds pick up and the heat rises, the two signs that a fire demon is close by. Kasai hoped that he would get lucky and it would walk right past him, but hoping for things to happen never did Kasai much good. This was proven by the fact that it got hotter and the winds got stronger.
"Looks like there is no way around it" Kasai got out Sirenki and was ready to use a spell at the right time. (I'll register spells later so right now I won't use the names.) Kasai called out the strongest water spell he knew, but nothing happened. "WTFREAK?" Kasai tried and tried again but all his spells wouldn't work. Then the fire demon came into view. It was 25 ft away and the heat and wind were almost unbearable now. Kasai knew he was in trouble now because he had used most of his energy casting the failed water spells.
The fire demon said "KYUKUKA (FLAMETHROWER)!!!" and a huge stream of fire shot out at Kasai. Kasai rolled away just in time to dodge it. But unfortunately, Kasai's cape got burnt on the tip. (Do I have a cape? oh well I'll check later.) Kasai went through his mind to find a spell that could slow down the fire demon's approach. Kasai screamed out the ground collapse spell at the top of his lungs while pointing his staff at the ground on which the fire demon stood upon. "Belikrige!!!"
The ground broke and the fire demon fell into the chasm. Suddenly, from the bottom of the hole, Kasai heard a gurgling sound. When he looked down, he saw all his water spells that he previously used were taking effect at the bottom of the chasm. Water dragons, Whirl Pools, Water Spouts, and many other spells were taking turns attacking the fire demon. After the attacks resided, all that was left in the hole was a small pile of wet ash.
"Well that was strange, wonder what it works now" Kasai muttered to himself. The ground started to shake and water came gushing out of the hole. After the water stopped flowing, Kasai was standing in a pool of water 4 feet deep. "If this isn't a secret oasis, then i guess i just made one."
"Wrong young one"
"Who the flaming fireballs are you?" Kasai said as he turned around. Behind him was a little bald man floating in midair holding a crystal blue staff.
"I am Lazarith, the guardian of all oasis and water sources here in Navarre. The answers for all your questions can come from me. But you may only ask one. Choose wisely young one.
"Why didn't any of my water spells work when I first cast them, and then later happen all at once?" Kasai asked Lazrith.
"The reason behind this is because here in the land of deserts and fire, water spells don't work on the surface. They work underground. This desert teaches people the lesson of survival, and willingness to survive without necessities. All water is transfered from the surface to beneath the ground, and will be released all at once when the surface is broken. I have made it so that if the water is not used withing 2 hours, it will be transported to the Sand City Sultan, the only place where water is accessible in this country. Your little homemade oasis's water will be transported to the Sand City Sultan in 2 hours. Fill your canteen and get out of this area. Share this secret with no one or else I will kill you" Then Lazirth started to evaporate.
"Wait! Then why did you say i was wrong!?!"
"Only one question young one" And then he was gone.
*Yes i know it sucked, give me time to get used to RPing
